NEW BALANCED NITAQAT SYSTEM

A new (mawzoon) balanced nitaqat system is on the way in Saudi Arabia, It will end the dominance of expat employees and cover the unemployment rate of Saudi's. All the old rules and regulations will be canceled if it clashes with the new mawzoon system.

Earlier it was enough to include Saudi name in the list of the company to be benefited from nitaqat, Now it is no more enough in the new balanced nitaqat system, Now it is necessary to mention amount of salary, years of service, percentage of women employees and job professions of Saudi citizens. The revised balanced nitaqat system is part of the Vision 2030 reforms and it will

Shoura Council of the Saudi Arabia has rejected the proposal of tax on expat remittances after the statement of Finance ministry, 73% percent of Shoura council members refused the proposal of tax on expatriate remittances without discussing. Trending :Send remittances online to home country

NEW MUQEEM CARDS EXPIRY DATE REPLACED WITH ISSUE DATE

After a successful year of replacing expatriates Iqama's with a new muqeem identity card in Saudi Arabia, Now renewed iqama's got a slight change, Yes, now 5 years validity is gone from renewed muqeem cards now its displaying Issue date instead of Expiry date. Trending :No tax on expats money

Now renewed muqeem identity cards or iqama's got a slight changes in below places

1. "Expiry date (الانتهاء)" is replaced with "Issue date (الاصدار)".  It does not mean Expiry date is gone, validity still available but it is online. Related :Check Iqama Expiry date online

2. Place of Issue (مكان الاصدار) is now displaying "Electronic Services (الخدمات الإلكترونية)" instead of "City Name".

3. "Business License number (رخصة العمل)" is no more available on renewed muqeem cards.

EMPLOYERS FINE FOR IQAMA VIOLATIONS & EMPLOYING ILLEGAL WORKERS

Saudi Jawazat(General Passport Office) will fine SR 500/- for employers who failed to renew the iqamas of their expatriate workers before 3 days of its expiry date and SR 25,000/- for hiring illegal workers without work permit. Trending :No more expiry date on Iqama

The Directorate General of Passports (Saudi Arabia Jawazat) warned the employers, companies and sponsors for delaying the process of issuing new iqama's or renewing old iqama's of their expatriate workers. Do you know :What is Jawazat?

- Employers who failed to renew or issue iqama before three days of its expiry will be charged SR 500/- on each resident identity card for the first time.

Saudi Arabia Jawazat also warned those employers and companies, who are employing or employed illegal expatriate workers. In this case the violation penalties will be as follows

- SR 25,000/- for first violation with one year ban on new recruitment and deportation of the related manager in case he is an expatriate.

- For repeating the same violation second time, the penalty will be increase to SR 50,000/- with two years of ban on new recruitment and the deportation of the related manager in case of an expatriate. Recommend :new Jawazat Services fee

- Third time violation will fined with SR 100,000 with five years of ban on new recruitment and one year jail term for the related manager and deportation in case of an expatriate.

VIDEO : MAN ARRESTED FOR TRYING TO LIT HIMSELF NEAR KAABA

A man tried to burn himself near the Kaaba in Makkah, Thanks to the active security officials and the pilgrims who stopped and arrested him on the spot.

Police officers, pilgrims and worshipers spotted a man who went to lit himself near to the Kaaba by pouring some liquid material on himself. People formed a circle around him till officers took him outside.

TWO PASSENGERS FOUND WITH 250000 RIYALS HIDING IN BETWEEN BANANAS

NASA FOUND SEVEN NEW PLANETS LIKE EARTH IN ANOTHER SOLAR SYSTEM

NASA announced on Wednesday that they have discovered  seven new worlds like Earth near a star called TRAPPIST-1 in a new solar system outside ours.

All the seven planets may have water but the three are in the "habitable zone", which means it have the highest chances of life there, The temperature may range from zero to 100 degree centigrade.

- It is also possible that there may be alien life on any of these 3 habitual zone planets out of seven, It is about 39 light years far from our earth planet.

- The TRAPPIST-1 star located in the constellation Aquarius is a ultra cool dwarf, It is so cool that liquid water may be on these planets.

- All the seven planets are closer to their star TRAPPIST-1, It is so close that you can watch the other planet from one planet, in the size of moon or bigger than it.

- It is also possible that those 7 planets are locked at one place, which means it may have only day at one side of the planet while the other side may have only night.

- TRAPPIST-1 became very important and hot topic now for future study, Scientists will soon able to search water and evidence of life in these 7 new worlds.

SAUDI RAILWAY COMPANY LAUNCHED NEW TRAIN BETWEEN AL RIYADH & AL QASSIM

Saudi Arabia Railway Company has launched its new and first high speed passenger service train from Al Riyadh to Al Qassim on February 26th of 2017, This train will be operate at the speed of 200km per hour reaching the destination in 2 and half hours.

For now the Riyadh to Qassim passenger train service will operate only 5 days( Thursday, Friday, Saturday , Sunday and Monday ) in a week until April 1st. Starting from Riyadh's terminus near King Khalid International Airport at 10 AM to 12.30 PM and the return trip from Al Qassim terminus will be from 3 PM to 5:30 PM.

- The travelling time from Al Riyadh to Al Qassim and Al Qassim to Al Riyadh in this train will be 2 hours and 30 minutes including a 10 minutes stop at Majmaah. Temporarily SAPTCO buses are droping passengers from Buraidah to railway station with out any cost.

- Currently Saudi Railway company has opening offer till March 27th of 2017, The offering charge is SR 40 for Adults and 20 Saudi Riyals for children through online portal, Saudi Railway Company (SAR) offering its website both in English as well as Arabic.

- From April 2nd it will become regular and daily service, The train timings will be 5 AM from Al Qasim and it will reach by 7.30 AM and from Riyadh it will be from 6 PM and it will reach in Al Qassim at 8.30 PM.

- Saudi Arabian Railway company has a plan to extend the train upto Hail in northern Saudi Arabia later in another phase it will extend to Al Jouf and AL Qurrayat cities of Saudi Arabia as part of vision 2030 with which the distance will be 1242km from the Riyadh city.

FILIPINOS SHOULD RENEW PASSPORTS BEFORE 9 MONTHS OR LESS

The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia issued an advisory note on 1st March 2017, asking all the Filipinos living in KSA to renew their passport, if the validity of their passport is 9 months or less than nine months.

Renewal of Passport with a Validity of Less Than 9 Months

(Riyadh, 1 March 2017)– The Philippine Embassy in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia reminds the Filipino community in Saudi Arabia to check the validity of their passports and have it renewed if its validity is 9 months or less.

As a matter of policy, the Embassy discourages the extension of e-Passports due to the fact that some foreign governments do not recognize the extension stamp, opting to stick to the validity date as stored in the chip of the e-Passport.

To avoid any inconvenience, Filipinos in Saudi Arabia who wish to renew their passports should obtain an appointment by accessing the Embassy’s official website at, www.riyadhpe.dfa.gov.ph .
